Sadly, we have finally conceded and called off our plans to reschedule the Weekend Three events originally planned for our May Festival.

We were fortunate to successfully stage Weekends One and Two back in the carefree days of May. Ticket sales broke our previous records and the audience showed up in COVIDSafe droves. Thank you to all those who have held onto their tickets in the hope of seeing the Weekend 3 events eventually staged — your support gave us the impetus to keep trying.

We look forward to sharing ideas, wisdom and laughs with you all in 2022.

Please email to advise Viv ( vivfog.qlf@gmail.com ) if you have queries regarding refunds or donations to the Festival.

COVID-safe gathering

The Queenscliffe Literary Festival has ensured that all events and venues comply with the current COVIDSafe guidelines that apply to events of our type, for the safety of our audience, presenters and volunteers.

The measures implemented include:

  • External doors open during and between events to ensure good ventilation - so dress for the weather
  • Hand sanitiser readily available at hygiene stations
  • Signing-in of those in attendance who have not pre-purchased a ticket on Trybooking
  • Signage throughout venues to promote physical distancing
  • Increased cleaning of all facilities
  • Disinfection of seating and touchpoints after and before each performance
  • Decreased venue capacities in line with current guidelines
  • Encouraging longer audience entry time to avoid crowding
  • Volunteers / committee with distinctive clothing for easy identification
  • Easy refund or transfer of tickets if ticket-holder is unwell with COVID-19/flu-like symptoms

Update 26 May 2021
